Shortly, before traveling to Greece, Ellis dabbled in sculpture, unknowingly creating the predecessor for his next body of work; an airy, clear blue series of columns from PVC pipe. His fascination with minimal composition and material evolved further through his Aegean series as it renewed his interest in print making. His final series of work includes collages from woodcut prints and dimensional wood collages of fence posts, worked from a wood lathe. Go back and view more collections of the Robert M.
